Happy June Everyone!

Arashi Daiko is getting ready to head down to the town of West Hartford, CT to support the 3rd annual Summer Festival organized by the Japan Society of Greater Hartford. This year’s festival is organized to support the earthquake victims in Kumamoto. Mari Miyamoto from NY will be joining the festival to help with fundraising. We will be giving a 1hr performance at the Blue Back Square on Saturday June 11th around 6pm.

On June 19th, our students, Inazuma, will once again be performing to support the cyclists in the Défi Pierre Lavoie! Drop by to support the event and enjoy the sounds of Japanese drums!

Towards the end of the month, on St-Jean baptiste day, we will be helping to celebrate cultural diversity in Chinatown at the Sun Yat Sen Park. Come join us for some great outdoor festivities!

July will be busy as well with the S.O.U.P.E. festival on Canada day, July 1st, that will be held at the parc des Rapides in LaSalle.

July 10th, we will once again be participating in this year’s Festival international de Percussions at the parc Arthur-Therrien in Verdun.

At the end of the month, we will be in Val David for the 1001 Pots festival.

Keep an eye on our calendar page for more events!

See you soon! 🙂
